The “ATP 2020 Global Conference” is the global conference where industry leaders in the fields of education measurement, test development, certification licensure, and human resources development gather from around the globe to present and share cutting-edge research and cases.
In this conference,Wada has participated in the Closing Keynote CEO Panel “Using Assessment To Promote Equity: How Are We Doing?”, and held a panel discussion with global leaders in the testing industry regarding the social trends surrounding current standardized tests and the future of assessment technology in the world of with-corona and after-corona from the viewpoint of equity, validity, and reliability.
Wada also participated in the Asia Session “Asia EdTech and Value of Assessment – Use Case Exploration”, where main theme was EdTech trends in Asia in the era of with-corona and after-corona and the impact of EdTech to the education and measurement industry.
In the panel discussion, he emphasized the importance of efficacy framework (accountability of outcomes) when disruptive technology like AI is used to bridge “learning”, “measurement” and “navigation” in the data-driven society.
