Pitch Event will be held in the project “Scheem-D” of the MEXT, in which our Executive Vice President & Co-COO, Wada participates in the steering committee

On February 19, 2021, a pitch event will be held in the project “Scheem-D” of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), in which Wada, our Executive Vice President and Co-COO participates as a member of the Steering Committee. He will also participate as the final judge of this pitch event.

About Scheem-D

“Scheem-D” is a project led by the government (MEXT) where university faculty members and companies that provide digital technology are collaborating together. This project focuses on improving university education, particularly on how classes are held, by implementing unique and cutting-edge ideas utilizing digital technology.

This project aims for the “digitalization of university education” that maximizes the value of “blended learning” in classes by combining both online education technology and offline learning in order to realize the “Student-centered Education”.

About Scheem-D Pitch

At the “Scheem-D Pitch” to be held on February 19, 2021, university faculty members, companies that own digital technology, and students who wish to take on the challenge of maximizing the value of university education using digital technology, will make presentations at a public “pitch event”. Once the judges (national or local government, university officials, private companies, investors, etc.) will agree with the ideas, they will “match” and will conduct a feasibility study to implement the project in class as an official activity of Scheem-D.

The pitch events will be streamed on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, etc., which will allow a bigger audience to participate and for the event to reach more people.
